Opal Juanita Keim

Opal Juanita Keim, 90, of Syracuse, passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2007, at Goshen General Hospital. She was born on February 24, 1917, in Elletsville, IN, to William & Kathryn (Hall) Gouldy.

On August 6, 1938, she married Olen Keim. He preceded her in death in 1974.

A lifelong area resident, Opal was a homemaker and was formerly employed at Borkholder Drugs and Pilcher Shoes, both of Syracuse. She was a member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church in Syracuse.

Survivors include 3 Sons: Steve of Grayling, MI, Richard of Knoxville, TN, and Don L. of Elkhart, IN, 4 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Brother: Jack Gouldy of Bloomington, IN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Olen Keim.

Services will be held Thursday, March 22, 2007, at 2:00PM, at the Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, in Syracuse. Pastor Mark Eastway will officiate. Burial will be at the Syracuse Cemetery. Friends may call 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral home on Thursday.
