David Grant Dunkin

David Grant Dunkin, age 72, of Bremen passed away Saturday, March 24, 2007 at Bremen Health Care Center. He was born May 11, 1934 in Wolcott, IN to Leslie E. and Nellie E. (Hollingsworth) Dunkin. David was a lifetime Bremen resident. He delivered newspapers and worked at the Copper Kettle Restaurant. He was a member of Bremen Bible Church, an avid marathon runner, honorary member of the Bremen Kiwanis, he was given the official title of Bremen's #1 Fan. His favorite memory verse John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasing life."
He is survived by his sister, Dorthea Looney of Chatsworth, NJ and 5 nieces and nephews, Kathy, Kris, Betsy, Tim and Terry. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters, Edith Ting and Miriam Hobbs.
Services will be held 2:00PM Tuesday, March 27, 2006 at the Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen. Dr. Duane Beals will officiate. Burial will follow in Bremen Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:00 - 2:00PM prior to the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to Bremen Bible Church or the Bremen High School Athletic Department.
