Sonja Jean Miller

Sonja Jean Miller, 69, of North Webster, passed away Friday, March 30, 2007 at Goshen General Hospital. She was born May 23, 1937 in Blountsville, IN to Keith C. and Clova (Bales) Felton. Sonja was a lifetime area resident. She retired from Whitko Community School Corporation in Pierceton July of 2002 after 21 1/2 years of service as Duputy Treasurer in the Administration Office. She was a past memeber of the following organizations: Indiana Association of School Business Officials, Indiana Association of Executive Office Personnel, Member of Retired Indiana Public Employees Association, Member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in North Webster, Residential Liaison of Culver's Hill Retirement Community in North Webster.

Sonja is survived by her son, Robert Miller of Syracuse, 3 daughters, Rhonda Knisley of Leesburg, Michelle Miller of Milford, Heather (Brad) Bonewitz of Warsaw, 4 grandchildren, Nathan Miller of Syracuse, Joshua Knisley of Leesburg, Jordan Currie and Jaden Bonewitz of Warsaw. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be held Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at 11:00AM at the Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel in Syracuse. Pastor Brad Cox will officiate. Burial will follow in Oswego Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8PM Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be given to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or Goshen Cancer Care Center.
