Richard Devon Davis

Richard Devon Davis, 83, of Syracuse, passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2007, at Lakeland Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Milford. He was born on May 10, 1923, in Hastings, Indiana, to Lewis & Ollie (Rumfelt) Davis.

On February 21, 1945, he married Wilma (Anglin) Davis; she preceded him in death on January 3, 1996.

A Farmer, Richard lived in Milford.

Survivors include 5 Children: Teddy V. (Betty) Davis of Wawaka, Barbara A. (Jerry) McClintic of Milford, Louie A. (Ruby) Davis of Leesburg, Glenn D. (Georgia) Davis of Goshen, and Brenda K. (Freddie) Smith of Edinburgh, IN, 10 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Parents, His Wife: Wilma, 1 Grandson and 2 Sisters.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, April 16, 2007, at 10:00AM at the Island Chapel Cemetery. Reverend Robert Clyde will officiate. Burial will be at the Island Chapel Cemetery. No visitation is planned. Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home in Milford is handling the arrangements.
