Ronald L. Beasley

Ronald Lee Beasley, 67, of Syracuse, died Sunday, April 15, 2007. He became ill while playing golf and was pronounced dead at Goshen General Hospital.

He was born in Bedford, Indiana, on January 10, 1940, to Augustus and Dorothy (Hensley) Beasley. He married Kenya Steffey on November 24, 1973. She survives.

A 1962 graduate of Ball State University where he was a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity, Mr. Beasley owned Northern Lakes Insurance Agency in Syracuse. He had worked in insurance for 45 years.

He is survived by his wife, Kenya; three sons, Vincent Ronald (Lindsay) Beasley of Syracuse, Clint (Carly) Beasley of Indianapolis, and Scott Beasley of Syracuse; two grandchildren; five sisters, Joyce Kaiser of Elwood, Indiana, Sandy (Dan) Laub and Sherry (Dale) Brannock, both of Syracuse, Mickey Turco of South Bend, Indiana, and Debbie (Beryl) Atkinson of Gas City, Indiana; and a brother, Gary (Peggy) Beasley of Syracuse.

Friends will be received from 1 - 6 p.m.,Thursday, April 19, at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home in Syracuse.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 20, 2007, at the Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home in Syracuse.
