Erma J. Schutz Wise

Erma J. Schutz Wise, 99, of Bremen, passed away on Wednesday, April 25, 2007, at the Bremen Health Care Center. She was born on May 14, 1907, to Oliver & Eva (Manges) Pittman.

She married Walter R. Schutz in 1927. He preceded her in death in 1974. She then marred Willie Wise in 1989. He preceded her in death in 1993.

Erma was a Homemaker and cook at the TLC Nursing Home and Lakeville High School Cafeteria. She was a Member of the Nappanee Missionary Church and a former member of the Farm Bureau.

Survivors include 1 daughter: Marge (Roger) Thornton of Palatine, IL, 1 daughter-in-law Betsey Schutz of Bremen, 1 sister: Fern Beehler of Madison Township, IN, 5 grandchildren,
4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents, both husbands, son Eugene Schutz, 1 grandson Bradley, 2 sisters, 1 brother.

Services will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2007, at 1:30 PM at the Nappanee Missionary Church, 70417 SR 19 in Nappanee. Pastor David Engbrecht will officiate. Burial will be at the Bremen Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8PM Friday, April 27, 2007, at Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen.
