Merle Devon Miller, 44, of Ligonier, passed away from injuries sustained in an auto accident on the Indiana Toll Road on Thursday, April 26, 2007. He was born on February 19, 1963, in LaGrange, Indiana, to Elva Jay & Elsie (Weaver) Miller.
On September 15, 1983, he married LaVerda Miller.
Merle was a self-employed Farmer, a Dry Wall Installer and was Old Order Amish.
Survivors include his wife: LaVerda of Ligonier, 3 Sons: Jeryl (special friend Clara Yoder), Ryan (special friend Ina Lehman) and Jeremy, all at home, 3 Daughters: Richelle (Richard) Glick of Shipshewana, Jenean and Ronda at home, his Father and StepMother: Elva Jay and Martha Miller of Ligonier, 1 Brother: Maynard (Jainee) Miller of New Paris, 3 Sisters: Esther Anna (Floyd) Eash, Erma (Harley) Troyer, Mary Edna (LeRoy) Eash, all of Ligonier. He was preceded in death by his Mother: Elsie (Weaver) Miller.
Services will be held at 9:30AM on Monday, April 30, 2007, at the Merle D. Miller residence, 11424 N 500 W, Ligonier, IN 46767. Bishop David M. Miller & Home Ministries will officiate. Burial will be at the Hawpatch Cemetery in Topeka. Friends may call all day on Saturday, April 28, 2007, and all day on Sunday, April 29, 2007, at his residence.
