Rita Rose Fodor

Rita Rose Fodor, 88, passed away while doing her favorite past time, working in her garden, on Monday, May 7, 2007. She was born on June 23, 1918, in Elwood, Indiana, to George and Sthepana (Sigward) Dauenhauer.

She married Herman Turner Hipskind. She later married Joseph Michael Fodor. Both preceded her in death.

She was a Member of St. Dominic Catholic Church in Bremen and was a Secretary at Bendix for several years.

Survivors include 1 Daughter: Rosalee Sue (Bernard) Janicki, 4 Grandchildren: Stephen (Mee) Janicki of Bremen, Michael Janicki of Mishawaka, John Janicki of Madison Township, Mary Beth Greer of Madison Township and 1 Great-Grandson: Dustin Greer. She was preceded in death by 5 brothers and sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30AM on Friday, May 11, 2007, at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Bremen. Father Polycarp Fernando will officiate. A private burial will follow at a later date. There will be no visitation.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Madison Township Fire Department.
