James V. Anderson

James V. Anderson, 86, of Ligonier, passed away at his residence, on Saturday, May 12, 2007. He was born in Hubble, KY, on August 6, 1920, to Wylie & Lulu (Snow) Anderson.

In September, 1945, he married Geneva (Reed). She preceded him in death in 2000.

James retired from Goshen Rubber after 35 years of service. He was a Member of the American Legion of Ligonier, the Disabled American Veterans and served his country during WWII in the 80th Division of the United States Army.

Survivors include 2 Sons: James G. Anderson of Ligonier and Kevin (Pauline) Anderson of Granger, 3 Daughters: Gale (Tom) Atz of Ligonier, Jeanette (Brandon Denham) Atteberry of Niles, MI, and Gay Hickman of Ligonier. He was preceded in death by His Wife, 1 Brother and 2 Sisters.

Services will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2007, at 2:00PM at the Knepper's Reception Hall, located at 6511 W. Cromwell Road, Kimmell, IN 46760. There will be full military rites. Pastor Bill Parks will officiate. Burial will be at the Sparta Cemetery in Kimmell. Friends may call on Tuesday, May 15, 2007, at the Knepper's Reception Hall from 12:00PM-2:00PM, prior to the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the West Noble American Legion.

Arrangements are being handled by Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel.
