Lucille Huff

Lucille Huff, age 78, of Nappanee passed away Monday, June 4, 2007 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka.  She was born August 13, 1928 in Plymouth to Albert and Laura (Roberts) Myers.

She married Evan L. Huff on June 25, 1950 who survives.

Lucille was a member of Grace Untied Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years.  She loved family get-togethers, cooking and baking for her family and others.  She enjoyed her garden and life on the farm, including caring for her cats.  Lucille was a very patient, loving and kind wife, mother and grandmother.  Her smile and gentle spirit will be missed.

She is survived by her husband Evan of Nappanee, 3 daughters Susan (Richard) Amacher of Mishawaka, Jane (Paul) Linderud of Crandon, WI, and Lois (William) Sheley of Elkhart, 1 son Robert (Regina) Huff of Bremen, 1 sister Marian Munn of Plymouth, 9 grandchildren Heidi (Ryan) Sturum of WI, Gregory Amacher of FL, Laura and Amy Amacher of Mishawaka, Todd, Chad, and Troy Huff all of Bremen, Jessica and Annelies Linderud of WI.  She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister Geraldine Ritchey, 1 brother Eldon Myers.

Services will be held Friday, June 8, 2007 at 10:30 AM at Grace United Methodist Church, 232 N. Montgomery St. in Bremen and will be officiated by Pastor William Garver.  Burial will follow at the Bremen Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
