Phyllis J. Leeper, 79, of Bremen, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2007, at the Community Hospital of Bremen. She was born on January 29, 1928, in Marshall County, Indiana, to Jesse O. & Libbie (Bordner) Long.

On December 21, 1945, she married Ronald Leeper. He survives.

A Homemaker, Phyllis was a member of the United Pentecostal Church of Bourbon, a member of TOPS in Nappanee and attended Plymouth High School. Her CB handle was Sweet & Low and she was known for her quick wit, her sense of humor and "how 'bout a hug."

Survivors include her Husband Ronald of Bremen, 1 Daughter: Mary Leeper of Bremen, 1 Daughter-in-law: Shirley Leeper of Middlebury, 1 Granddaughter: Anne Horn of Bremen, 2 Grandsons: David (Holly) Leeper of Goshen, Brian (Elizabeth) Leeper of South Bend, 6 Great-Grandchildren, 3 Brother-in-laws: Leon (Eunice) Leeper of Bridgman, MI, Dennis (Cindy) Leeper of Bremen, Hayward Stuntz of Plymouth, 1 Sister-in-law: Marlena Dube of Bremen. She was preceded in death by 1 Son: Ronald E. Leeper, Jr., 1 Infant Daughter: Brenda Leeper, 2 Brothers: Orla Long & George Long, 5 Sisters: Cecile "Cecil", Violet, Helen, Ruth and Anna, 1 Sister-in-law: Ernestine Stuntz.

Services will be held on Friday, June 22, 2007, at 10:30AM at the United Pentecostal Church of Bourbon, 201 North Bourbon Street, Bourbon, IN 46504. Rev. Mark Cottrill will officiate. Burial will be at the Bremen Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8PM at the United Pentecostal Church of Bourbon.

Memorial contributions may be made to the United Pentecostal Church of Bourbon Parking Lot Fund, 201 North Bourbon Street, Bourbon, IN 46504.
