Carol H. Todd

Carol H. Todd, 87, of 5862 W 900 N, Ligonier, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2007, at 5:23PM, at her home. She had been ill for the last 6-8 weeks. She was born in Tollsboro, KY, to Bruce and Anna (Keith) Hamrick on April 19, 1920.

On February 20, 1938, she married Charles W. Todd, Sr., he preceded her in death on May 19, 2007. Her parents, her husband Charles, two sisters, an infant brother and an infant daughter, Margaret, preceded her in death.

Surviving are two sons, Charles (Sonia) W. Todd, Jr., and Joseph K. (Susan) Todd, both in Syracuse; four grandchildren, William V. Todd, Riverside, CA, Joseph K. Todd Jr., Marsha Todd Austen, Los Angeles, CA, and Christine W. Todd, Syracuse; three great-grandchildren, Darien Todd, Orlando, FL, Jack Todd Austen and Nicole P. Austen of Los Angeles, CA.

She lived most of her adult life in Elkhart Township in Noble County. She was a Homemaker and she was formerly employed at Monsanto in Ligonier for 10 years. She also worked for Goldens Furniture in Ligonier and she was a life member of The Yarley Club in Wawaka.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8PM Tuesday, July 17, 2007, at the Church of Christ(formerly Perry School), 9025 N 860 West, Ligonier. The funeral will be held at the church at 10:00AM Wednesday. Pastor Mel Harrell will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Noble County Foundation for the Wawaka High School Alumni Scholarship Fund or the church. The Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, Syracuse, is assisting the family with arrangements.
