Robert Zimmer

Robert Zimmer, 84, of Bremen passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2007 at his residence.

Robert was born on July 21, 1923 to Lloyd Owen & Marie Irene (Wolfe) Zimmer.
He graduated from Bremen High School in 1941, was a member St. Dominic Catholic Church in Bremen and was a past usher. He served in WWII in the U.S. Navy and was a member of Bremen VFW Post #8972.

Robert was a T.V. repairman and farmer.

Survivors include sons Michael (Deborah) Zimmer of Kansas City, MO, Thomas Robert (Delia) Zimmer of Mission Viejo, CA, Timothy William A.K.A. Ryan Robert (Susie) Williams of Durham, NC, daughters Barbara Leigh (John) Enkoff of Ft. Wayne, Particia Ann (Dennis) Price of St. Louis, MO, Soulmate Ann Gorbitz of Bremen, and her children Judy (Ed) Libera and family, Diane (Jay) Grice and family, Melissa (Aaron) Keusch, Emory Gorbitz, sisters Marjorie Elaine (Robert) Dell of Hagerstown, Maryland, Marilyn McCarthy of Naperville, IL, 16 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 3 nephews and 2 nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Mass of Catholic Burial will take place 1PM Saturday, July 28, 2007 at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Bremen and will be officiated by Father Polycarp Fernando. Burial will take place at the Bremen Cemetery with full military rites.

Friends may call from 4-8 PM Friday, July 27, 2007 at the Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen. There will be a rosary service at 7:30 PM that evening.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Dominic Catholic Church in Bremen, Community Hospital of Bremen or the Bremen VFW Post #8972.
