Melissa K. Myers

Melissa K. Myers, 55, of New Paris, IN, passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2007, at her residence. She was born on August 9, 1951, in Saint Joseph County, Indiana, to Ralph & Cathy (Thompson) Crowder.

On October 18, 1986, she married Gene A. Myers; he survives.

A lifetime area resident, Melissa was a homemaker and had been self-employed. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary Post #1342 and the American Legion Auxiliary Post #223, both in Syracuse.

Survivors include her husband: Gene of New Paris, 2 Daughters: Amy (Ryan) Zigler of Churubusco, Melisaa Rentfrow of Ft. Wayne, 1 Son: Matthew Logan of Ft. Wayne, her Mother: Kathy Sorgenfrei of South Bend, 4 Grandchildren: Cassie Rentfrow & Lauryn Logan of Ft. Wayne, Luke Zigler & Aliyah Zigler of Churubusco, 1 sister: Clare Crowder. She was preceded in death by Her Father Ralph Crowder.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, August 18, 2007, at 10:00AM at the Syracuse Cemetery. No visitation is planned.
