Stanley B. "Stan" Stucko, 83, of Saw Mill Lake - Leesburg, passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2007, at Mason Health Care in Warsaw. He was born on October 26, 1923, in Chicago, Illinois.
On September 3, 1961, he married Dona M. Vanator. She survives.
Stan lived in the Barbee Lake area for 47 years and retired as a Senior Estimator at Dana in Syracuse after many years of service. He graduated from Holy Trinity High School in Chicago and attended the University of Pennsylvania where he studied Engineering. He served his country with pride and honor as a Crew Chief on a B-24 Bomber during WWII. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #253.
Survivors include 2 Sons: Rob (Melissa) Stucko of Fort Wayne, IN, Steve (Kathie) Stucko of Salida, Colorado, 2 Stepsons: Gary (Nancy) Hill of North Webster, Chuck (Jaira) Hill of Scotts Mills, Oregon, 1 Stepdaughter: Vicki Cole of Missouri, 7 Grandchildren: Lynn Ann, Nicholas, Todd, Randy, Brad, Sabrina, Samuel.
Services will be private and there will be no public visitation. Burial will be at the North Webster Cemetery, Mock Addition with full military rites.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Welfare League.
