James Edward Loetz

James "Jim" Loetz, 78, of North Webster, passed away on Thursday, August 23, 2007, at Miller's Merry Manor in Warsaw. He was born on November 16, 1928, in Van Wert, Ohio, to Oscar & Edna (Buuck) Loetz.

Jim moved to the Wawasee area from Ohio, most recently living in North Webster. He was a car auctioneer and owner/operator of J & J Motors. Jim attended Grace Lutheran Church in Syracuse, was a member of the Ligonier Masonic Lodge and North Webster American Legion Post 253. He was an Army Veteran and a Graduate of Van Wert High School in Ohio.

Survivors include 4 daughters: Sandy (Denny) Jagger of Barbee Lake, Cindy (Rick) Rosenkranz of Cape Coral, FL, Deb (Reg) Coy of Warsaw, Sue (Brian) Wallen of Warsaw; 8 Grandchildren: Kara Lichner, Lara Burris, Brent White, Karly, Riley & Jamie Wallen, Chelsea and Travis Rosenkranz; 5 Great-Grandchildren: Lindsay Burris, Jake Crousore, Grace Campbell, Kennedy & Morgan White; and 1 sister: Marilyn (Marty) Gladish of Greenwood, IN.

Services will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2007, at 3:00PM, at the Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel in Syracuse. Pastor Dennis Wilson will officiate. Burial will be at the North Webster Cemetery, Mock Addition, with Military Honors by the North Webster American Legion. Friends may call from 2-6PM on Saturday, August 25, 2007, at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
