Lorene H. Keck

Lorene H. Keck, age 93, of Bremen, passed away Friday, August 31, 2007 at her residence. She was born May 7, 1914 in Oaktown, IN to Mr. & Mrs. William Hodges. In 1940 she married Sherman Dale Keck. He preceded her in death in 1982.

Mrs. Keck was a member of the First United Church of Christ in Bremen, a 1932 graduate of Oaktown High School, and a 1936 graduate of Indiana State University. She was a retired teacher, teaching at Bremen and Lapaz. She also owned and operated Home Furniture Mart in Bremen from 1950-1962.

Surving is a son Tom (Diann) Keck of Bremen. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a son James Dale (1972), 2 sisters and 4 brothers.

Services will be held 2:00PM Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at the Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen. Pastor Susan Sickelka will officiate. Burial will follow in Bremen Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.

Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Marshall County.
