Clarence Alvin Truman

Mr. Clarence A. Truman passed away on Friday September 14, 2007 at Marion VA Hospital. He was born on October 15, 1926, in Kokomo, Indiana.

In 1956, he married Barbra (Arnett); she preceded him in death in 1998. He was engaged to be married to Mary Slinker of Converse, Indiana.

Clarence lived in Wabash County for many years, coming from Kokomo. He retired from Railway Express after 35 years of service. Clarence graduated from Greentown High School and went on to serve his country during WWII in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the VFW & American Legion, both of Wabash.

Survivors include His Fiancee': Mary Slinker of Converse, 1 Son: Bruce (Lois) Truman of Syracuse, 1 Granddaughter: Lena Truman of Syracuse. He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister.

A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held on Tuesday September 18, 2007, at 12:00 PM in Marion National Cemetery- 1700 E 38th St., Marion, IN 46952. No calling hours are planned.
