Virginia M. Sahlhoff Greenfield

Virginia M. Sahlhoff Greenfield, 76, of Syracuse, passed away Thursday, September 27, 2007, at Goshen General Hospital. She was born on October 6, 1930, in Kosciusko County, Indiana, to Bert & Mary (Sand) Mitterling.

She married Melvin Greenfield on August 25, 1992. He survives.

A homemaker, Virginia graduated from Nappanee High School in 1948 and was a member of Shepherd by the Lakes Church of Syracuse.

Survivors include her husband: Melvin Greenfield, 2 Brothers: Kenny (Helen) Mitterling and Jim (Patricia) Mitterling and 1 Sister: Marie Ann (Paul) Yoder. She was preceded in death by her Parents and an Infant Brother: Johnny Mitterling.

Services will be held at 10:00AM on Monday, October 1, 2007, at Shepherd by the Lakes Church, 7449 E. 1000 N., Syracuse, IN 46567. Pastor Terry Winegarden will officiate. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
