Audrey Corinne Staples

Audrey Corinne Staples, 92, of North Webster, passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2007, at Warsaw Meadows Health Care. She was born on February 18, 1915, in Huron, SD, to Merrill C. & Mary A. (Strickler) Stanfield.

She married George N. Staples on November 27, 1947. He survives.

Corinne moved to North Webster in 1947, coming from Lebanon, IN. She retired from GTI Corporation of Leesburg in 1979 and attended the North Webster Church of God and was a member of the North Webster United Methodist Church. Corinne was a member of the Charm and Chatter Home Ec Club, North Webster American Legion Auxiliary, Knitting Together Club of Kosciusko County, Eastern Star, Past Chief's Club & the Pythian Sisters.

Survivors include her Husband: George Staples of North Webster, 1 Son: Joe (Pam) Staples of Logansport, 2 Grandchildren: Jennifer J. Staples of Colorado & Jason W. Staples of Elkhart, 1 Great Grandson, 1 Brother: L. H. Stanfield of Attica, IN, and 2 Nieces: Patty Buckey of Syracuse and Scherrie Duerr of Milford. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 Brothers: Herbert & Virgil Stanfield and 1 Sister: Violet Scott.

Services will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2007, at 11:00AM at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, in Syracuse. Friends may call 1 hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be at the North Webster Cemetery, Mock Addition.
