Rev. Raymond Mueller, 78, passed away at 10:57AM, on Wednesday, December 26, 2007, in Jasper County Hospital in Rensselaer, Indiana. He was born on June 17, 1929, in Kodaikanal, South India, to Alvin A. & Agnes Emma (Loesch) Mueller.
On August 14, 1954, he married Vivian Naef. She survives.
Rev. Mueller moved to North Webster in 1994. In 1954, he graduated from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis. He then became a Pastor in the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod serving congregations in Gladwin, MI, Battle Creek, MI, Bremen, IN, St. Louis, MO, Rocky River, OH, and Syracuse, IN. He also served on various boards in the Missouri Synod.
Survivors include his Wife: Vivian Mueller of North Webster, 2 Daughters: Mary Mueller of Arlington Heights, IL, Rebekah (Alan) Miller Gildden, IA, 1 Son: David (Miranda) Mueller, Goodland, IN, 3 Sisters: Gertrude (Willard) Schepman of Brownstown, IN, Ruth (Don) Woodson of Florissant, MO, Martha (Ed) Ingersoll of Ft. Myers, FL and 5 Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 Son: Mark and 1 Brother: Samuel.
Services will be held on Monday, December 31, 2007, at 11:00AM, St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Bremen, 605 S. Center St. in Bremen. Pastor Jerry Winegarden will officiate. Burial will be at Bremen Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-6PM Sunday, December 30, 2007, at Shepherd by the Lakes Lutheran Church, 7449 E. 1000 N., Syracuse.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shepherd of the Lakes Buliding Fund or Haiti Mission and Concordia Theological Seminary.
