Martha K. (Austin) Vendola

Martha K. (Austin) Vendola, 53, of Wyatt passed away on Friday, January 4, 2008 at her residence. She was born March 2, 1954 in Lakeville, Indiana to Leonard & Vera (Coon) Austin.

A lifetime area resident, Martha enjoyed crafts and sewing. She was a waitress, bartender and cook, worked at Snydley’s Restaurant in Bremen for several years, worked at the Pirate’s Cove in Mishawaka and at the Woodland Inn.

She is survived by her son Jason (Beth) Kreske of Wyatt, 2 grandchildren: Cassie and Shawn, 2 brothers: Jerry (Brenda) Austin of Walkerton and Jimmie (Terry) Austin of Walkerton, 2 sisters: Joan (Craig) Stein of Lakeville and Virginia Ballinger of Mishawaka, and many nieces and nephews

Preceding her in death are her parents and sister Loretta Kreske.

Visitation will be from 4 – 8PM on Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at the Mishler Funeral Home

There will be no services; cremation will take place after visitation.

Memorials contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society (Mishawaka, IN) and the Pet Refuge (Mishawaka, IN).
