Doug was a longtime resident of Bremen, Indiana. He graduated from New Paris High School in 1962. He retired from White Farm Equipment and he spent many happy years as a semi-truck driver. He was a member of the American Legion, Bremen.

Doug enjoyed life. He was well liked by those who knew him. He enjoyed nothing better than a good euchre game and a cold beer. He loved playing cards with his friends at the Bremen VFW and his friends from Warsaw. Doug also loved his “Puddy-Cat”, his faithful feline. We knew him and loved him as Doug, as Bud, as “Precious” from a playful Cathie, and as “Clarence” when he was aggravating her. No matter what he was called he was much loved by all of us and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 11, 4 – 8 p.m. at Mishler’s Funeral Home, in Bremen, Indiana. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 12, at Mishler’s Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at the Union Center Cemetery following the funeral services.
