Ross McNay Howell, 65, of Lake of the Woods, Bremen, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2008, at 10:16 PM He was born on January 4, 1943.

He married Dixie Kertai on December 1, 1984. She survives.

Ross ran Hoosier Transit of Nappanee, Indiana, moving motor homes for Gulfstream Coach for the last 7 years.

2 Sons: Donald of Nashville, TN and James of Hammond, IN, 4 Step-Sons: Emery (Shannon) Kertai of Nappanee, IN, Wade (Tracy) Kertai of Bremen, Bradley (Danielle) Kertai of Lapaz, Shawn (Tracie) Kertai of Bremen, 13 Grandchildren: Corteney, BreAunna, Matthew, Alexis, Ethan, Brooke, Isabella, Kristyn, Alaina, Justus, Faith, Paige and Jesse. 1 Brother: Donnie Howell of Bend, OR, 2 Sisters: Betsy (Al) Ojeda of Mesa, AZ, Mary Ellen (Tom) Elmore of Hammond, IN, Half Sisters & Step Sisters: Carolyn (Don) MacCortny of Highland, IN, Nancy (Butch) Palolella of Chandler, AZ, Star (Loren) Mennsing and Rose Ann Howell of Hammond, IN
His Aunt: Evelyn Howell of Hammond, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents and Uncle.

Services will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2008, at 2:00 PM at the Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen. Pastor Roger Rohde will officiate. Burial will be at Bremen Cemetery. Friends may call from 3-8 PM on Friday, February 1, and 2 hours before the service at the at the funeral home.
