Jennie Lorraine Miller, age 85, of Haines City, FL, formerly of Elkhart, IN, passed away Thursday, September 8, 2005 at Heart of Florida Hospital in Davenport, FL. She was born March 19, 1920 in North Webster, IN to Alfred & Ethel (Black) Kuhn.
Jennie retired from ITT in Ft. Wayne in 1984. She attended Landmark Baptist Church in Haines City, she was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Women's Aux. in Auburn, IN. Jennie enjoyed going to NASCAR races, camping, bingo, and she traveled 48 states and Nova Scotia in the semi with her husband Wayne.
She married Wilmer Lawrence who preceded her in death in 1961. June 27, 1964 she married Wayne Miller who survives.
Other survivors include her daughter Charlotte Mulder of Billingham, WA, three sons, Lee Lawrence of Amberg, WI, Mike Lawrence of Haines City, FL, Gary Lawrence of Cromwell, IN, her sister, Lena Belle Murphy of Syracuse, a stepson Joe of Soldotna, AK,15 Grandchildren, several Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, a stepdaughter, Tonda Miller Hewitt, a sister, two brothers, and a Great Granddaughter Caroline Hancock.
A private service will be held at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel in Syracuse. Pastor Harry Gates will officiate. Burial will follow in North Webster Cemetery Mock Addition.
Memorials may be given to the Leukemia Foundation in memory of Tonda Miller Hewitt.
