Jo Ann Reed

Jo Ann Reed, 76, of Lakeville, passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2008, at her residence. She was born on April 1, 1931, in Lapaz, to Russell A. & Lucinda (Bope) Wingett.

She married to Richard A. “Dick” Reed on March 27, 1948. He preceded her in death on June 5, 2004.

A lifetime Syracuse resident, Jo Ann worked for Johnson Controls for 29 years in assembly. She attended Syracuse Church of God and also attended Wawasee Boat-In Worship.

Survivors include her Mother: Lucinda Wingett, 2 Sons: Richard R. “Dick” (Cindy) Reed of Lakeville, Michael “Mike” (Dee) Reed of Mishawaka, 6 Grandchildren: Shawn (Angie) Reed of Plymouth, Chad (Mel) Reed of Lakeville, Shane (Leila) Reed of Lebanon, Brea Jo (Aaron) Schelstraete of Lakeville, Holly (David) King of Plymouth, Nicole (Adrian) Hostetler of Lapaz, 13 Great-grandchildren: Kate, Shelby, Blake & Morgan Reed, Cooper & Brayden Reed, Meagen, Ethan & Tristan Schelstraete, David & Tyler King, Tyler & Bailey Hostetler, 1 Brother: Donald Wingett of Lakeville. She was preceded in death by: Her husband.

Services will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2008, at 11:00 AM, at
Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen. Pastor Vince Wilcynski will officiate. Burial will be at Bremen Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 PM on Monday, March 3, 2008, at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth Campus, Oncology Department.
