Louis C. Kline

Louis C. Kline, age 86, of Bremen, formerly of Lakeville, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2005, at the Bremen Health Care Center. He was born October 7, 1918, in Wyatt, to Melvin & Arvilla (Richter) Kline.

Louis was a retired janitor from the Zion United Church of Christ in South Bend. He enjoyed farming in his spare time. He was a member of the Lakeville United Methodist Church and was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII.

On March 11, 1939, he married Velva Foeckler. She preceded him in death in 1999.

Survivors include a daughter: Cecelia "Ce" (Gary) Pugh of Bremen. 3 brothers: Lester Kline of Elkhart, Herbert Kline of Bremen and Harold Kline of Avon Park, Florida. A sister: Doris Masterson of Plymouth. Grandchildren: Wendy (Greg) Bollenbacher of Bremen, Wesley (Alissa) Pugh of Bourbon, Courtni Pugh of Pasadena, California, Carrie (Matt) Felix of Washington, DC, Kelley (Steve) Hall of Bremen and Jeffrey DeLanghe of South Bend. Great-grandchildren: Erin and Matthew Hall, Britney and Briley Bollenbacher and Kacie and Kyle Pugh. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Velva Kline, a daughter: Thelda Delanghe and a brother: Gerald Kline.

Services will be held 10:30AM Saturday, October 1, 2005, at Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen. Pastor Neil Wonnacott will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in the Bremen Cemetery. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the Services on Saturday, October 1, 2005, at Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Marshall County or Bremen Manor.
