Barry R. Beatty

Barry R. Beatty, age 56, of Leesburg, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2005, at Goshen General Hospital. He was born May 3, 1949, in Elkhart, Indiana, to Raymond and Lutie "Granny" (Long) Beatty.

Barry was the Owner/Carpenter-Operator of Beatty Building. He worked for R.R. Donnelley in Warsaw and was a retired Plain Township Fireman. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and a member of the Warsaw Bass Masters.

On February 3, 1990, he married Carolyn Miller, who survives.

Survivors include his wife: Carolyn. His mother: Lutie "Granny" Beatty of Warsaw. 2 daughters: Heather (Jeff) Christner of Warsaw and Hillary (Bart) Kammerer of Leesburg. A son: Branden Beatty of North Webster. A sister: Amber "Bunni" Staples of Milford. 3 Grandchildren also survive: Justin & Dara Christner and Mason Kammerer. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Beatty.

Services will be held 2:00PM Sunday, October 2, 2005, at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home in Milford. Pastor Chris Hay will officiate. Burial will follow at Leesburg Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-6PM on Saturday, October 1, 2005, at the Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home in Milford.

The family requests donations in Barry's name be given to the Warsaw Humane Society.
