Isobel Mattingly, 97, Naperville, IL, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2008, in Naperville. She was born on October 13, 1910, to Lon & Valley Geyer.

She was married to Glen Yoder, who previously worked at the Elkhart Truth, for 55 years and to Lawrence Mattingly for 11 years.

Isobel grew up in Nappanee and lived in Elkhart or 40 years and had a residence on Syracuse Lake. She previously worked at CROP in Elkhart for many years.

Survivors include a Daughter: Mary Ann (Gary) Nichols of Naperville, IL, 3 Grandchildren: Mike (Cathy) Nichols of Naperville, IL, Mark Nichols of Seattle, WA, Christina (Marc) Ericksen of Wilmington, NC, 2 Great Grandchildren: Grant & Garret Nichols, 1 Sister: Miriam Brenneman of Nappanee, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by both husbands, son: Mike Yoder, who played basketball in 1954 at Elkhart High School.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2008, at 11:30AM at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, in Syracuse. Burial will take place at a later date at Union Center Cemetery in Nappanee. Friends may call 1 hours prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
