Betty L. Hamilton

Betty L. Hamilton, age 74, of Milford, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2005, at Goshen General Hospital. She was born on April 30, 1931, in Akron, Indiana, to Ora & Louis (Barber) Shoemaker.

Betty grew up in the Akron and South Bend areas. She has lived in Milford for the past 51 years. She was a homemaker and enjoyed bowling.

On August 14, 1954, she married Dean L. Hamilton, who survives.

Survivers include her husband: Dean L. Hamilton of Milford. A son: Garry (Jackie) Hamilton of Syracuse and a daughter: Kathy (Rodney) Solina of Syracuse. 4 grandchildren: Blaine and Coleen Hamilton and Anthony and Andrew Solina. 1 sister: Mariam (Jim) Backus of Wabash. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be held 10:00AM Saturday, October 8, 2005, at the Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home in Milford. Burial will follow at the Akron Cemetery in Akron. Friends may call 5-8PM on Friday, October 7, 2005, at the Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home in Milford.
