Roger S. Martin

Roger S. Martin, 90, of Syracuse, passed away Friday, March 21, 2008, at Miller's Merry Manor in Syracuse. He was born on January 10, 1918, in Oak Park, IL, to Frank B. & Salome (Singleton) Martin.

On February 14, 1940, he married Lucille McCain. She survives.

A resident of the Syracuse area since 1943, Roger came from Downers Grove, IL. He was a retired Supervisor for Northern Indiana Public Service Company (NIPSCO).

Survivors include his wife of Syracuse, 1 Son: Kenneth Martin of Syracuse, 1 Grandson and 1 Sister: Rachel Pope of Washington. He was preceded in death by 1 Daughter: Diane, 2 Grandchildren: Roger Martin & Julia Martin, 1 Sister: Nancy Loveless and 1 Brother: Baxter Martin.

No calling is planned. A graveside service will be held at a later date in the Syracuse Cemetery.
