Everett D. Williams, 71 of Leesburg passed away Saturday, March 22, 2008 at St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne. He was born on August 18, 1936, in Anderson, IN, to Herbert F. & Bessie (Trueblood) Williams.
On December 17, 2002, he married Brenda Curts, she survies. He was previously married to Kiyoko Ise. She survives.
Everett resided in Leesburg (Grassy Creek) for the past 18 years, coming from Anderson, IN. He retired in 1990, from Guide Corp, in Anderson, where he worked in the Paint Processing Department. Everett was a lifetime member, for the past 27 years, in the American Legion Post 253 in North Webster and a lifetime member of the Alexandria VFW, as well. He was an Army Veteran, stationed in Japan, during the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Williams of Leesburg, 2 daughters: Wanda Nevins of Indianapolis and Teresa Lewis of Warren, 5 sons: Everett D. Williams, Jr., and Mark F. Williams, both of Anderson, Curt Greene and Daniel Ferguson, both of Dunkirk, Jason Ferguson of Larwill, several grandchildren, step grandchildren and great grandchildren, his sister: Pearl Stepp of Anderson, Mother-in-Law: Peggy Curts of Dunkirk, several nieces, nephews and in-laws. He was preceded in death by 3 sisters: Esther Hollar, Helen Stokes and Ruthe Williams, 1 Brother: Herbert Williams, Jr.
Services will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2008, at 1:00PM at the Elm Ridge Cemetery Chapel with Military Honors by North Webster American Legion, at 4600 W. Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, IN. Friends may call from 4-6PM on Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, in Syracuse, and 1 hour prior to the service on Thursday at the cemetery chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to the North Webster American Legion or the Alexandria VFW.
