Cathryn "Katie" O. Howell

Cathryn O. "Katie" Howell, 82, of North Webster, passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at 8:45AM, at Miller's Merry Manor in Syracuse. She was born on February 7, 1926, in Ft. Worth, Texas, to Lemuel and Lockie (McGee) Wicker.

On July 6, 1944, she married Joseph Gordon Howell. He preceded her in death in September 2007.

Katie lived in North Webster since 1963, coming from Silver Lake. She owned and operated Howell's Upholstery in North Webster & worked most of her life as a hairdresser. She was a graduate of Burlison High School in Texas, a graduate of Cosmetology School in Indiana. She was a member of North Webster United Methodist Church.

Survivors include 2 Daughters: Priscilla Elliot of Arizona, Patricia Stewart of North Webster, 3 Grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren 1 Sister: Mary Ellen (Wayne) Ward of Greeley, CO. She was preceded in death by her husband, 1 sister and her parents.

No visitation is planned. Graveside services will be held at a later date.
