Janice L. Magid

Janice L. Magid, age 50, of Syracuse, formerly of Detroit, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2005, at Americare of Goshen. She was born January 15, 1955, in Detroit, Michigan, to Buford H. & Margaret J. (Chivas) Pruitt.

Janice was a Network Specialist for the Do It Best Corporation. She was also a member of the North Webster Church of God and received a BS from Western Michigan University in 1975.

On August 4, 1979, she married Michael Magid. He survives.

Survivors include her husband Michael, of Syracuse, 1 daughter: Shauna Magid of Syracuse, and 2 sons: Justin Magid and Brandon Magid, both of Syracuse, 2 brothers: Norman Pruitt of California and William Pruitt of Detroit, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers.

Services will be at 10:30AM on Wednesday, October 26, 2005, at the Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, in Syracuse. Pastor Jeff Boyer will officiate. Burial will follow at the Syracuse Cemetery. Friends may call 2-8PM Tuesday, October 25, 2005, at the funeral home.
