Riley Ousley, age 64, of North Webster, passed away on April 11, 2008 at 4:41PM at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, IN. He was born on September 28, 1943, in Langley, KY, to Malcolm & Alice (Conley) Ousley.
On September 14, 1978, he married Becky (Slusser) Welker. She preceded him in death in 1997.
A lifetime area resident, Riley retired from Whitley Products after 24 years, then became a supervisor at Colbin Tool in Syracuse. He attended Pierceton High School, served in the US Air Force from April 23, 1961-April 23, 1965, was a member of the American Legion Post 253 in North Webster. He loved fishing, gardening, NASCAR and was a Dallas Cowboys fan. Riley had a great sense of humor. His main interests were his sons, their wives and special granddaughter, Sydney. He enjoyed watching his son Scott participate in sports at Wawasee High School and Indiana State University.
Survivors include 3 Sons: Scott (Laura) Ousley of Columbus, IN, Dave (Kari) Welker of Noblesville, Joe (Kelle) Welker of Plymouth, 4 Brothers: Lloyd Ousley of North Manchester, Holley Ousley of Pierceton, Ray (Sandra) Ousley of Sellers Lake, Tom (Orinne) Ousley of Sidney, 1 Sister: Fran (Jim) Fear of Oreana, IL, 10 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild. He was preceded in death by his Wife Becky, 1 Son: Tom Welker and 1 Sister: Lois Trump.
Friends may call from 5-8PM Tuesday, April 15, 2008, at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, in Syracuse.
