Deloris E. Weyler-Gaston

August 20, 1931 — April 23, 2008

Deloris E. Weyler-Gaston, 76, of Fort Wayne, previously of North Webster, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2008, at Bethlehem Woods in Fort Wayne. She was born on August 20, 1931, in Huntington County, Indiana, to Jesse S. & Elsie (Lehman) Lahr.

In 1950, she married John W. Weyler. He preceded her in death in 1997. On September 30, 2001, she married Lawrence "Lotsie" Wayne Gaston; he survives.

In 1979, Deloris moved to the North Webster area from Fort Wayne. She was the former owner of Grassy Creek Restaurant between Saw Mill Lake and Tippecanoe Lake. She attended the North Webster United Methodist Church, was a member of the Hoosier Women's Club, Tippy Home Ec. Club, United Methodist Women's Society and the Red Hat Society.

Survivors include her Husband: Lawrence "Lotsie" of Fort Wayne, 1 Daughter: Diana Fisher of Fort Wayne, 1 Son: Mark A. Weyler of Muncie, 2 Grandsons: Chad (Angi Kittelson) Fisher of Fort Wayne and Kyle (Aimee) Fisher of New Haven, IN, 2 Great Grandchildren, 1 Step Daughter: Beverly Wallace of Fort Lauderdale, FL, and 1 Step Son: Lawarence (Susan) Gaston, Jr., of Fishers, IN, 3 Step Grandchildren and 5 Step Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 Sisters and 2 Brothers.

Services will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2008, at 11:00AM at the Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, in Syracuse. Pastor Scott Mann will officiate. There will be a committal service at 2:00PM at Highland Park Cemetery in Fort Wayne. Friends may call 2 hours prior to services on Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Foundation.
