Robert F. Reasoner

Robert F. Reasoner, age 85, of Kimmell, passed away Monday, April 28, 2008 at Hospice Home in Fort Wayne. He was born on December 12, 1922, in Kosciusko County, IN, to LeRoy & Edith (Catey) Reasoner.

A lifetime area resident, Robert took over the family farm at age 16 and farmed for over 67 years. He was a 1940 graduate of North Webster High School, a member of the Indiana Sheriff's Association, the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Sons of the American Legion, Order of the Eastern Star, Shrine Provost Unit, Knights of Pythias, Masonic Lodge, Noble County Shrine Club, the Mizpah Shrine and the Scottish Rite.

Survivors include his Life Companion: Betty Nyce, 2 Sons: Roger (Betty) Reasoner of Waynesboro, VA, Ralph (Terri) Reasoner of Ligonier, 1 Daughter: Linda (Jerry) Conner of Kimmell, 7 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Parents, 2 Sisters and 6 Brothers.

Services will be held on Friday, May 2, 2008, at 10:00AM at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, in Syracuse. Pastor Joey Nelson will officiate. Burial will be at the North Webster Cemetery, Mock Addition. Friends may call from 4-8PM Thursday, at the funeral home. There will be a Masonic Service by the Cromwell Lodge #705 F&AM.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
