Haley Marie Chessor

Haley Marie Chessor, age 14, of Syracuse, formerly of Walkerton, passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2005, at Riley's Childrens' Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born August 3, 1991, in Knox, Indiana, to Vernon Dale Chessor, Jr. and Jan Dixon.

Haley was an 8th grader at Wawasee Middle School. She danced at the Lee Anne Stewart Dance School in Syracuse and was a member of the North Webster Church of God Youth Fellowship Group (High Five for Jesus) in North Webster, Indiana. She enjoyed spending time with her many friends.

Survivors include her mother: Jan Dixon of Syracuse, her father: Vernon Dale Chessor, Jr., of Grovertown, Indiana, 2 brothers: Casey (age 12) Chessor and Kaige (age 3) Dixon and a sister: Alyssa (age 7) Bolyard, all at home in Syracuse. Maternal Grandparents: Dave & Connie Warren of Walkerton, Paternal Grandmother: Roxanne Martin of Port Charlotte, Florida, and Paternal Grandfather: Vernon Dale Chessor, Sr., of Winamac, Indiana. Her Paternal Great-Grandparents: Don & Myrtle Urban of Port Charlotte, Florida. Haley is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles and cousins.

Services will be held 1:00PM Saturday, November 5, 2005, at the Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home in Syracuse, Indiana. Pastor Mike Overpeck and Youth Pastor Kyle Stamper will officiate. Burial will be private in the Syracuse Cemetery. Friends may call 4-8PM Friday, November 4, 2005, at the Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home in Syracuse.

A Memorial Service in Celebration will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be given to the Haley Chessor Memorial Fund at any First Federal Bank or they may be given at the Funeral Home.
