Richard "Dick" Pawlosky, 63, of North Webster passed away Thursday, May 15, 2008 at South Shore Golf Course of an apparent heart attack. He was born May 28, 1944 in Bad Axe, Michigan to Edward E. & Elsie O. (Bredow) Pawlosky. On March 19, 1988 he married Terri Van Prooyen, she survives.
Dick has resided in North Webster for the past 16 years coming from Highland, IN. He was a member of the North Webster United Methodist Church, and was a District Sales Representative for Maytag Corp., retiring in 1999. Dick was a very dedicated employee for Maytag, and was always friendly and outgoing to those he met and knew. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and restoring classic wooden boats.
Other survivors include 6 daughters: Patricia Stockstell of Matteson, IL; Susan Pawlosky of Indianapolis, IN; Pamela Waldrop of Crown Point, IN; Kelly Caldwell of Fort Wayne, IN; Joellen Dykstra of Highland, IN; Jeanine Kinzie of Dowagiac, MI.
2 sons: Erik Haniford of Crown Point, IN and John Van Prooyen of Chicago, IL. 11 Grandchildren.
Brother: Paul Pawlosky of Ottisville, MI and a sister: Mary Brown of St. Clair, MI.
He was preceded by a wife Rosalie Pawlosky.
Services will be Sunday, May 18, 2008, 4 PM at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, Syracuse with Pastor Scott Mann officiating.
Visitation will be Sunday from 1-4 PM at the Funeral Home prior to the service.
Private burial will be held at a later date.
Memorial may be directed to the North Webster United Methodist Church Building Fund.
