Homer R. Forsythe, 90, of Plymouth, formerly of Bremen, passed away at his residence on Saturday, May 17, 2008. He was born on July 31, 1917, in Marshall County, to Arthur & Isabelle (Nusbaum) Forsythe.
He married Evelyn M. Wolfe. She preceded him in death in 1999.
Homer retired from Bendix after many years. He was a US Army, WWII Veteran and a member of the American Legion and VFW, Moose, Bremen Masonic Lodge and a 32nd degree Mason.
Survivors include 2 Daughters: Sharon Bemish of Plymouth, Carolyn Forsythe of Pennsylvania, 2 Sons: Robert Forsythe of Bremen and John Forsythe of Florida, 3 Sisters: Lucille Schmeltz of Walkerton, Blanche Odiorne of Plymouth, Margaret Troyer of Monon, Several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren and numerous Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Wife, 2 Brothers: Art and Frank, 2 Sisters: Mai & Mary Lou and 1 Granddaughter.
Services will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2008, at 1:00PM, at Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen. Pastor John Perkinson will officiate. Burial will take place at Bremen Cemetery. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Starke County Hospice.
