Dorothy E, Hoffman

Dorothy Hoffman, 84, of Milford, passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2008 at Lakeland Rehabilitation & Health Center in Milford. She was born on April 13, 1924, in Elkhart, to Alford and Cecil (Starner) Boon.

She married Harold Templin. He preceded her in death in 1973. She married Don Hoffman. He preceded her in death in 2005.

A lifetime area resident, Dorothy retired from Leesburg Peoples State Bank. She attended Island Chapel United Methodist Church in Hastings and was a graduate of Leesburg High School.

Survivors include 1 Son: Jerry (Jane) Templin of Leesburg, 2 Step sons: Randy (Pam) Hoffman of Nappanee and Dan (Karen) Hoffman of La Otto, IN, 1 Sister: Margie Fisher of Elkhart, 1 Brother: Daniel Boon of Sylmar, CA, 3 Grandchildren, 4 Step Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren, 9 Step Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents and both husbands.

Services will be held on Sunday, June 8, 2008, at 1:00PM, at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home in Milford. Pastor Odell Hughes will officiate. Burial will take place at Leesburg Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8PM Saturday at the funeral home.
