Esther Sue Henson

Esther Sue Henson, age 81, of Milford, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2005, at the Lakeland Health and Rehabilitation Hospital in Milford. She was born on November 5, 1924, in Pine Knots, Kentucky, to Sherman Lay & Audrie Bell.

Esther Sue moved to Milford 42 years ago. Her husband served in the Army and they lived in various places, including Germany and Arkansas. She was a homemaker and graduated from high school in Heber Springs, Arkansas. She was a life member of the VFW Ladies' Auxiliary in Syracuse.

She married James Doyle Henson, who preceded in her death on May 13, 1983.

Survivors include 2 sons: Danny (Debbie) Henson of Milford and James David Henson of New Haven, IN. 4 grandchildren: Jennifer Henson, Jeff Henson, Diane Henson and Jeremy Garber-Henson. 3 Great-grandchildren: Akashia, Kayla & Nicholas Garber. 2 Brothers: William and Bobby Bell, both of Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband: James Doyle Henson.

Services will be held 1PM on Monday, December 5, 2005, at the Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home in Milford. Burial will follow at the Milford Cemetery. Friends may call 2 hours prior to services, from 11:00AM-1:00PM on Monday, December 5, 2005, at the Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home in Milford.

Memorials may be given to the VFW in Syracuse.
