Marjorie I. Leets

Marjorie I. Leets, 89, of South Bend, formerly of Bourbon and Nappanee, passed away on July 15, 2008, at Fountainview Nursing Home in Mishawaka. She was born on May 18, 1919, in Bourbon to Frank & Fairy (Heckaman) Deisch.

She married William Nortin in 1938; he preceded her in death in 1970. She then married Wilfred Leets.

Marjorie was a bookkeeper and performed many secretarial duties. She graduated from Bourbon High School in 1938 and was a Member of the United Methodist Church. Marjorie enjoyed bowling and gardening.

Survivors include 1 Daughter: Sharon Plute of South Bend, 1 Son: Richard Norton of Grovertown, 1 Brother: Frank Deisch, Jr. of South Bend, 7 Grandchildren and 9 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 Sons: William & Ronald Norton.

Services will be held at Noon on Friday, July 18, 2008, at Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen. Pastor Bill Garver will officiate. Burial will take place at Bremen Cemetery. Friends may call 2 hours prior to services on Friday at the funeral home.
