Beverly J. Hamman, 82, of North Webster passed away Saturday, July 26, 2008 at her residence.
She was born September 12, 1925 in Churubusco, IN to Rollin & Marcelle (Smith) Gray. On September 27, 1944 she married Albert Junior Hamman, he survives.
Beverly was previously employed with Farmers State Bank, Counting House Bank, and Lake City Bank all in North Webster. She was a member of the North Webster United Methodist Church, a member and Past President of the North Webster American Legion Post 253 Ladies Aux. for over 60 years; a member of the Moose Lodge # 1047 in Goshen, Order of the Eastern Star, and Knitting Together club in North Webster.
Other survivors include 3 daughters: Jacquelynn (Jerry) Smith of Leesburg; Kathryn Sue (Morton E.) Berry of Florence, Montana; and Robin Marie (Curt) Foster of San Diego, CA. Grandchildren: Lisa (Steve) Light; Shelly (Mark) Alber; Keith Smith; Jennifer (Rick) Reagan; Bryan (Kerri) Berry; Kim (Jason) Herndon; Matthew Foster; Jill Foster; 14 Great Grandchildren. 2 Sisters: Barbara Coy Leedy of North Webster and Betty Remke of Fort Wayne.
Services will be Thursday, July 31, 2008, 11:00 AM at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, Syracuse with Rev. Dave Smitley officiating. Burial will be in North Webster Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 30 from 4-8 PM at the Funeral Home.
Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society or the North Webster United Methodist Church.
