Jotilda Liske

Jotilda Liske, 98, of Winona Lake passed away Wednesday, August 27, at Grace Village Assisted Living Center.
She was born May 9, 1910 in Selma, Indiana to Frank & Carrie (Swander) Black. On June 22, 1965 she married Gus Liske, he preceded her in death in 1987.

Coming from Hoffman Estates, Illinois, she moved to Syracuse area in 1976. She was previously employed with Commerce Clearing House in Chicago for 30 years, attended Friends Church at Dewart Lake, and was a member of the VFW and American Legion Aux. in Syracuse.

Survivors include 2 stepsons: Ronald Liske and Thomas Liske, Seven Step-Grandchildren, 2 sister in laws: Lavelle Black and Martha Black, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

Services will be on Saturday, August 30, 1:00 PM at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, Syracuse with Rev. David Smitley officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Syracuse Cemetery.
