Dorothy M. Tener

Dorothy M. Tener, 75, Bremen, passed away on September 29, 2008, at Bremen Health Care Center, Bremen. She was born on November 21, 1932, in St. Joseph County, IN, to Otis & Edna (Hoffman) Andrews.

She married Melvin Tener on July 25, 1953. He preceded her in death on August 13, 2006.

Dorothy attended the former First Assembly of God Church in Bremen. Before that, she attended the former County Line First Assembly of God Church. She was very active within the church and served as treasurer. She was a lifetime member of the Bremen VFW Women's Auxiliary

Survivors include 1 Daughter: Kathy (Jerry) Michalski of South Bend, 4 Sisters: Nellie Van Gilder of Plymouth, Ethel Renes of South Bend, Deloris (Harry) Beechler of Elkhart, Erma (Glen) Hochstetler of Nappanee, 1 Brother: George Andrews of Bremen
2 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded by: Husband, Parents, 1 Sister: Esther Dyer, 4 Brothers: Donald, Edgar, Devere & William Andrews, Grandson Baron Odiorne.

Services will be held at 1PM on Friday, October 3, 2008, at Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen.
Pastor Chuck Krieg will officiate. Burial will take place at Bremen Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8PM on Thursday, October 2, 2008, at Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen.
