Elva "Ike" Potts

Elva "Ike" Potts, 86, of Cromwell, passed away on October 1, 2008, at her residence. She was born on March 31, 1922, in Newton County, IN, to John M. & Laura (Merchant) Odle.

On December 1, 1945, she married Russell Potts. He preceded her in death.

Elva lived in Newton County, lived in Renssaler and moved to the North Webster area in 1964. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Elva was a member of the Shepherd of the Lakes Church, a lifetime member of the North Webster American Legion Auxiliary and was an avid Kiwanian in North Webster. She loved spending time on the lakes fishing and enjoyed a game of euchre with friends.

Survivors include her Daughter: Coramarie "Korky" and companion Joe Stanley, Cromwell, Grandson: Lane (Michele) Morgan) Morristown, TN, Great Grandchildren: Nicole & Niressa, Morristown, TN, several nieces and nephews and son-in-law: Dwayne Morgan and his companion, Barbara and their son, Chase. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Services will be private.
