Rosemary M. Huston Freel Stapleton Eberly, 89, of North Webster, IN, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2008, at Parkview North Whitley Memorial Hospital. She was born on February 19, 1919, in Huntington, IN, to Frank & Anna (Brubaker) Huston.

On August 29, 1936, she married Charles Freel, who preceded her in death in 1965; in 1968, she married Fred Stapleton, who preceded her in death in 1984; and, on October 10, 1989, she married Willis Eberly, who preceded her in death in 1993.

Rosemary moved to North Webster from Huntington in 1964. She worked at Schacht Rubber in Huntington for 14 years, Knapp Lake Store for 10 years and was a homemaker. She was a member of the North Webster Church of God. The most important thing to Rosemary was her family; she was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved being outside gardening and crocheting.

Survivors include her 2 daughters: Jodi Freel, Cromwell, Patricia (Doyle) Bowers, South Whitley, 5 sons: Thomas (Judith) Freel, Charles Gail (Debi) Freel, both of North Webster, Carl (Sue) Freel, Syracuse, Ronald (Judith) Freel, Cromwell, James (Joan) Freel, Pierceton, 17 grandchildren 39 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, four brothers and one sister.

Services will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2008, at 10:00AM at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel in Syracuse. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2008, at 12:30PM at the Star of Hope Cemetery in Huntington, IN. Pastor David Wagner. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8pm on Friday, October 10, 2008, and one hour prior to services on Saturday at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel.
