Nancy Carolyn Anderson

Nancy Carolyn Anderson, 77, of Leesburg, passed away Thursday, October 16, 2008, at her residence. She was born on March 19, 1931, in Marion, IN, to Rowland & Gertude (Palmer) Hill.

On March 28, 1953, she married Jerry Anderson; he survives.

Nancy was a summer Tippecanoe Lake resident since 1957; moving her permanently in 1999, coming from Kokomo, IN. She graduated from Kokomo High School in 1949, and attended Purdue University where she graduated in 1953 with a B.S. in Education, teaching Kindergarten. She was a member of Pi Beta Phi soririty, where she founded the Kokomo Alumni Association and a member of Tri Kappa Greek Club in Kokomo. She was also a member of Chapter BW of the PEO Sisterhood in Kokomo, and demited to chapter EJ in Syracuse, when she moved here in 1999. She was a member of the Tippecanoe Lake Country Club, loved playing Bridge and belonged to several Bridge Clubs in the area.

Survivors include her husband, 1 Daughter: Kathy (Mark) Clary of Winona Lake, 2 Sons: Jim (Mary) Anderson of Rochester, Minnesota, Tom (Joan) Anderson of Leesburg, Grandchildren: Courtney Clary; Jon, Melissa, Stephanie & Joe Anderson.

Services will be held on Monday, October 20, 2008, at 3:00PM at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel in Syracuse. Pastor Dennis Wilson will officiate. Friends may call 2 hours prior to services at the funeral home.
