Yilmaz Negiz

Yilmaz Negiz, 45, of Bremen passed away on Friday, October 24, 2008 in St. Joseph County as a result of an automobile accident. He was born on February 1, 1963 in Bingol, Turkey to Sukru & Lutfiye (Yelke) Negiz. He married Loretta Monhaut on August 16, 1989 in Bremen. She survives.

Yilmaz was the dining room Captain at the Summit Club of South Bend. He was a staunch Republican and enjoyed watching the Colts and Notre Dame football.

Survivors include his wife Loretta Negiz of Bremen, 1 son: Arif Negiz of Bremen
1 daughter: Elif Negiz at home, 3 brothers: Zeki, Ayhan & Murat all of Turkey, 5 sisters: Hediye, Inci, Elif, Saniye & Suna all of Turkey, his parents: Sukru & Lutfiye Negiz of Turkey, mother-in-law: Martha Monhaut of Bremen, 12 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by an infant brother and father-in-law.

A memorial service will be held at 3PM on Sunday, November 2, 2008 at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (605 S. Center St., Bremen). Friends may visit one hour prior until time of service.
